We were hoping the first night in BCN would set the tone for the remainder of our trip, and expectations were exceeded.

We asked if we could sit somewhere just for 30 minutes, and it turned out we actually had 40 minutes before someone’s reservation. Our whole dinner took only 20–30 minutes. So if they tell you it’s fully booked, ask what time the reservations start — you might still have time to enjoy your meal before someone else arrives.
