Tucked away in the Gothic Quarter, the Contraban is a gem of a restaurant in a hotel. Service was friendly, professional and very helpful and the setting is simply gorgeous. We opted for the tasting menu (table of 4) and while all of various offerings were delicious, none of them really stood out like they did at different Michelin mentioned restaurants in Barcelona. Would definitely recommend for the service and ambience but would suggest ordering off the menu vs. doing the tasting.
We hosted a private dinner for my company at the Contraban Restaurant from the initial communication to the day of the event the customer service was exceptional. The venue, food, ambience were also 10/10. Special shout out to Veronica who went above and beyond on every detail. We will definitely look to return for future events.
