We ran across this cute place while exploring Barcelona on one of the Hop-On-Off bus stops. We were in a hurry to catch our next bus and decided to quickly grab a sandwich to eat on the bus (by the way, the bus doesn't allow food, we later found out) We grabbed a ham and cheese sandwich and a vegetarian sandwich. Both were on fresh bread and had a reasonable amount of filling. The ham one not as much as the vegetarian one. We were very happy with our quick snack-lunch and would absolutely go back there when in Barcelona. The place was very clean and the person at the counter was very friendly and fast (which we needed). The prices were extremely reasonable! We paid only 7,50 euro for our 3 sandwiches
Two Aussies and one Brit staying nearby in the Gothic Quarter for 4 nights, we hunted for good coffee and breakfast opportunities. Our lucky day when we found Vivari. We raced around first thing each morning for our coffee and croissant, or other fresh pastry, rolls, sandwiches, sweet things and more. One late evening when we wanted only a light meal we were delighted to find Vivari open until 10pm so we could have their 'Croque Monsieur ' toasted cheese. Perfect for our needs. Happy and efficient staff each time we arrived, and a bright, light filled venue, clean and comfortable. And best of all, EXCELLENT coffee
Cheap and cheerful, with friendly staff who are very accommodating (our Spanish language is quite rusty but they understood us anyway haha! The food was lovely and the cafe has a nice atmosphere spent under €10 overall. Would recommend!
Wonderful staff member! Super great menu prices. We parked in the lot right next door and after a long day of walking around, we wanted a quick and easy dinner option for our hotel. Roger's place was perfect!
