Facing that square was a Modernist style building holding this wonderfully charming bar/restaurant des de Versalles. You enter into a comfortable space with decor reminding you of Art Deco or turn of the century chic. The wait staff are all pleasant and accomodating to your requests. Whether for a light meal, an afternoon sweet treat, or just a late night drink, this should be a destination.

I don’t... read more I am attending a conference nearby and staying in an Airbnb apartment. Had breakfast in this place. The relaxing vibes matches with the morning action. I don’t speak Spanish so with a bit of finger pointing, I ended up ordering a huge breakfast (see photo). The coffee is first class. Mine is served on a cup and saucer but I saw some others ordering coffee in a glass which looks equally interesting. I was clearly too greedy on the food but the bill comes up to be quite reasonable. If you happened to be in the neighbourhood, check it out. I saw that they also serve dinner.
