I find the Lebanese food to be one of the best in the world the meat, the spices, the pickles etc. Whenever I enjoy it in an Arabic country, there’s no limit to... read more I find the Lebanese food to be one of the best in the world the meat, the spices, the pickles etc. Whenever I enjoy it in an Arabic country, there’s no limit to how much I could eat. But for some reason, when you see a Lebanese restaurant in Europe, there is no guarantee that the food will be equally tasty despite being run by Lebanese. Not sure what’s the mystery but it is a reality. And, unfortunately, Sundown is an example of that. I had a shawarma with humus and falafel. The falafel was the best out of the three. The meat was dry, salty more than spicy and didn’t seem the freshest. I am not going back I’ll keep on thinking of my dilemma: being Lebanese, running an amazing restaurant back home and always falling below expectations in places like Barcelona ... a pity.

There is a Syrian place across from this restaurant that claims to be Lebanese and is not. Instead, go inside this place!! It was AMAZING
