However servi... read more Fantastic meat and service! We made a table reservation which was not necessary (probably due to lack of guests because of the COVID-19 pandemic). However service was amazing, and the meat (we chose entricot de vaca vieja) as well. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

The skirt steak was a little fatty but it was fine for only 10€ . The tuna tartare and mussels were very good. But the highlight was the creme Catalan and the espresso with Bailys. So good I had to order another. We are used to NYC prices, so all the prices were reasonable.

Beyond that it is a... read more Perhaps the worst culinary experience I’ve ever paid for. This restaurant has a hip vibe, excellent music and kind front of the house staff. Beyond that it is a train wreck. Chef is trying to build a minimalist menu, however you need to be skilled enough to cook before you try to achieve that feat of brilliance. Our appetizer of snails was way over salted and awful. There was no help from the aioli which was literally a bowl of butter. Our main course was completely destroyed by over zealous fire driven cooking. Both the lamb and the chicken could only be drier had they been discovered in an Egyptian tomb. This chef has clearly set a goal of defiling lamb on a new level. Chef nailed the fries, they were quite nice. Our wine selection was delicious. If I were offered to have this meal paid for by the restaurant in exchange for not posting a review, I would have declined. People need to avoid this tragedy like the plague. There are so many amazing restaurants in Barcelona to visit rather than Spark. Do yourself the favour of trying anything else.

The mushrooms were lovely , the aubergines were a bit mushy and bland. We then both had the steaks, they were cooked to perfection, tasted really good and you could tell the quality of the meat. Finished with cheesecake and chocolate cake both delicious and with drinks cost 80 euros although as we booked the table online got a 20% discount so was only 64 euros. Good place to eat
