I love this place, it's always fast service and the food is great and better priced than the other places around the area. Clean place, friendly service all the time and great food, what else is there to say?
After spending the morning walking around Parc Montjuic, we headed back into the main city to find somewhere to eat. On our way across to La Ramblas, we came across Que Bo. It's basically a sandwich shop as far as I could tell. The proprietor was friendly on arrival, took our order, asked if we wanted to take away or eat-in (the latter! , and our sandwiches (crispy chicken with copious amounts of salad were delivered shortly there after. The total bill came to €11, which compares very favourably with other places we ate at in Barcelona. It's off the beaten track so may be difficult to find unless you're looking for it, but it you stumble across it and you're after a bite to eat, stop, sit down and enjoy!
Don't know about others who've been travelling around Europe, but after a while you want vegetables. Restaurants all around the world are notoriously scungy at providing green matter so one hankers for some salad. Which is exactly what happened ... I want salad and I want it now. Noticed this wee place as we walked past the previous day and decided to give it a try. Lots of beautiful fresh salad ingredients were laid out in a bain marie, and from what I could gather, you could elect to have a salad with a meat or cheese or they'd whack one together for you. Also have bocadillos (bread rolls) filled with fresh ingredients as well. And crepes, cakes, doughnuts (wish we were here longer). They were making fresh cakes as we walked in (about 5pm, a rather late lunch)! I had a fresh salad and partner had a chicken bocadillo. I don't know what the herb dressing was they put over the salad but yum yum yum yum yum. Absolutely what the doctor ordered I was really happy and it tasted so good. All fresh as a daisy. Partner enjoyed his bocadillo as well. Very well priced (particularly so close to the highly overpriced Las Ramblas don't eat on that street unless your life depends on it). Highly recommend it was excellent. Mediterranean food at its best.
