The coffee was good and the service was fast.

It’s a great place with a strong selection of periodicals I’ve bought quite a few Apartamento magazines here over time among others. In the past, there were occasional issues with the staff not always the warmest attitude but I chose to overlook it as part of the local character, why not. However, what happened this morning was not nice. Being told directly, that my order was “impossible” is not just poor service it’s disrespectful. It puts a loyal customer in a position where they feel foolish for making a perfectly valid request. Matcha with water is not nonsense. It is a valid way to prepare it, and for some people it may be the only suitable option. I would have completely understood if you had explained, for example, that the quality of your matcha does not allow for this preparation that would be a valid and reasonable explanation. Instead, I was simply told it was “impossible,” with no explanation or alternative offered, justified only by some vague “principle.” That is not professionalism it is arrogance. Sad.
