What User doesn't like about Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana:
The staff could not find our OpenTable reservation and, despite being shown the email confirmation, seemed initially reluctant to honour it. This was followed by slow and inattentive service, the first round of drinks taking almost 15 minutes to arrive. La cocina mexicana de este restaurante es auténtica y de alta calidad. Visitamos México casi todos los años y la comida aquí es muy similar a la de ese maravilloso país, no solo en los platos tradicionales sino también en los innovadores. Aunque el chef es catalán, pasó 20 años en México y se nota. Nuestro camarero era de Guadalajara y coincidió en que el restaurante es digno de su nombre. El servicio fue muy amable, gracias.
Lo diré directamente: la comida es absolutamente deliciosa, pero nunca volveré. Es un restaurante de alta cocina que, sinceramente, con sus precios, hace que la experiencia se vea minimizada y no sea disfrutable. El problema no es que sea caro, sino que es difícil justificar el precio cuando otros restaurantes de similar calidad ofrecen precios más razonables. Además, si eres latino y estás acostumbrado a muchos de estos platos, te sentirás estafado y resonarás con lo que estoy escribiendo.
10 out of 10. Most authentic food I've tasted out of US and Mexico. Also amazing service and attention to detail while making the fresh table side guacamole. I recommend the tacos, Pastor and cochinita pibil. The margaritas also really good. Had the pepino (cucumber) and my wife had piña (pineapple) with Mezcal. Highly Recommend!
