The meal started... read more We were excited to try something other than the Spanish bar food that we'd had up to that point, and a cuisine that we are very familiar with. The meal started off great, but went downhill from there. Chips, salsa, and table-side guacamole were great. Queso was nice. Carnitas and Conchinita Pibil were good. Our issue was with the service and an encounter with the hostess at the end. Several drinks were ordered twice from the waitress and never made it to the table. We finally gave up and asked for the check. After two requests the hostess brought it to us. Didn't ask the currency, didn't offer a receipt. When I walked up to her to ask for the receipt, I got the nastiest look, as if I was being an huge inconvenience. She brought us one of two receipts, and then argued with a member of our group that she'd brought the second receipt as well. Extremely rude. Why the argument? Are we being unreasonable? She went back to print another one and then realized she'd screwed up. A half-hearted apology, as if she was only concerned that we might want to speak to a manager about her. We'd had a wonderful trip both in Madrid and Barcelona, and this was the one low point on this visit. Not sure what we did to deserve the antogonism. What a shame. We travel to town regularly, and we won't be returning.

Extremely expense and the food taste horrible. The only good thing was the chicharon, tortillas, and guacamole which was made fresh. We did the sampler which gave us a little of everything. Nothing taste good besides what I mentioned. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
