Little Corea - Barcelona

I was in Barcelona for business and on my 1 free evening decided to try Little Corea for the first time. Firstly, the fact that they were so busy on a Tuesday evening was a good sign! Secondly, they made a solo female diner feel very welcome (sadly, not always the case), not only advising on dishes and drinks to pair with it, but happy to stop chat, even though they were busy. I had steamed pork chive mandu (dumplings), which were plentiful and absolutely delicious; and then a seafood janchi guksu, which was beautifully seasoned with just the right balance on umami, heat and flavour. I was too full to try anything else from the menu, but will definitely return to do so. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and a central location in a city in which eating has increased in costs considerably in the past few years. Highly recommended! Estuve en Barcelona por negocios y en mi 1 noche libre decidí probar Little Corea por primera vez. El hecho de que estuvieran tan ocupados un martes por la noche fue una buena primera señal. Hicieron que una sola comensal se sintiera muy bienvenido (que no es siempre el caso). Me aconsejando de platos, y bebidas para acompañarlo, sino que felices de parar y conversar, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba ocupados. Tenía mandu de cerdo y cebollino al vapor, que eran abundantes y absolutamente deliciosas. Y luego un janchi guksu de mariscos, que fue sazonado maravillosamente con el equilibrio justo en umami, calor y sabor. Estaba demasiado lleno para probar cualquier otra cosa del menú, pero definitivamente volveré a hacerlo. Los precios eran muy razonables para la calidad de la comida, y una ubicación central en una ciudad en la que comer ha aumentado considerablemente los costos en los últimos años. ¡Muy recomendable!
