La Forquilla - Barcelona

The location might not be the best, but if you are hanging around you definitely must go and try the menu from La Forquilla. Is a familiar atmosphere with delicious food cooked with love. You have different nice and healthy options to choose in the menu (with desert included , and you leave the restaurant full and happy. I recommend it 100% if you like to eat well. :

I go to La Forquilla very often and it is always a pleasure. They always surprise you with good original recipies made with fresh market products, the menu price is super good, try it!

We visited La Forquilla on 4 September on the basis of it's strong position on Trip Advisor. In a non touristic district of Barcelona Vidal is running, almost single handily , a world class restaurant. We chose the tasting menu of eight courses. The quality of the ingredients, the subtle and surprising flavours and the attention to presentation were all outstanding. Even with the maximum of 10 covers the logistical challenge to achieve this standard with such seamless service and only one assistant in the kitchen is a marvel in itself. This is a must visit restaurant for anyone interested in genuine fine cuisine. The opportunity to revisit La Forquilla will be one of our principal reasons for returning to Barcelona!
