I ordered the shawarma which cost around €14. As you can see from the picture the portion size is very small. In fact, my wife asked to go to McDonald's straight afterwards because she was still hungry. The food tastes nice but was expensive compared to all the other similar halal places that I have been to. Little restaurant on the main la rambla all halal. Good food good service good little set up. Served reasonably quickly too. I'd go again
We decided to come to habibi based on other tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. it is located on la Rambla, further down from the food market but is quite small downstairs with only 3 tables. i can imagine it being rather claustrophobic when it is busy but we were lucky there werent too many people sat downstairs at this time. we started with the mezze platter with bread and a cheese quesadilla type thing both very tasty and well presented. for mains we had a lamb kebab served with chips or rice (i got chips) and my friend had the shawarma with chips and a side of bread! it wasnt a cheap meal especially for what we had just eaten however it is in a prime location, the food was yummy and the whole atmosphere was pleasant.
Had a pleasant couple of visits whilst I was in the city. Great food and relatively quick as well as being pocket friendly. Shisha was great, highly recommend the Adalya flavours, strong and long lasting, well worth it for your buck!
