When we got to the restaurant for our 13:00 reservation (confi... read more We spent Xmas in Barcelona. We made a reservation on October 7 for lunch at Coure on December 26. When we got to the restaurant for our 13:00 reservation (confirmed by their email) the restaurant was closed. The website said that they were opening at 13:30, so we waited, but they never opened. We were left with no lunch reservation on the day after Christmas, when everything else was either closed or completely booked. To the restaurant: if you decided to close, you needed to notify clients that had already made reservations. Very tacky and impolite not to do so. You certainly spoiled our afternoon!

If you want to have a taste of the different possible dishes I would recommend the Tasting Menu Dinner. Soup, meat, fish, home made bread, desserts... all delicious!

They offer high quality ingredients and an amazing cuisine, a high level one. Their artichokes were superb, and also their ‘bacallà’. To be repeated.
