I’m Korean. Please don’t think this is Korean restaurant. I was too hungry and too hot. I lost my mind. I was walking back to hotel and saw “Korean bbq all you can eat “. As soon as i set down and found out is this Chinese own k-bbq. But i tried some of other nation ppl’s Korean bbq. It was always not that good but i just give it a try. It was the worst Korean restaurant i ever been to. If i can give “0” i wanna give 0. Every single thing tastes bad or no flavour. Very bad quality meat. Side dishes, sauce, soup, noodles everything was terrible. I rather eat fast food than this. Feel so sorry to my stomach 여기 절대절대 가지마세요. 중국인이 하는 식당인데 외국엔 그런 곳이 종종 있어서 배도 고프고, 힘들고 스페인 음식은 지겨워서 들어갔는데 정말 이딴 음식을 내 배속에 쳐 넣은 제 자신에게 미안할 정도에요. 외국인들이 한국 식당이라고 생각 할까봐 섬뜩할 정도에요. I am Korean-American from New York. I am currently in Barcelona with my family for a few days. We have been to Barcelona 9 times in the last 7 years and we try to explore not only Catalan/Spanish cuisine but also Korean food as well. We get massive Korean food craving when we travel. We initially looked to go to another Korean restaurant, Soban. But when we arrived there, we were greeted with a sign that alerted people that they were closed for Easter vacation. So, we hurriedly found Restaurant Corea. Since we found this restaurant in a hurry, I could not do any meaningful research. We did read some reviews warning people that the place is run by Chinese staff. Since we were famished, we decided to overlook that fact. BIG MISTAKE. The ordering process involves ordering through a screen. Everything is in Spanish (naturally) and Chinese! (not Korean). We ordered a bunch of dishes including Korean pancake, bulgogi (marinated meat), kimchi stew, dumplings, bibimbap, spicy rice cake, etc. There was NOTHING authentic about any of these dishes. They were just god awful, tasteless, bland and disgusting. Perhaps they tailor to the Chinese taste buds but I hardly recognized any as being authentic Korean food. We actually noticed that we were surrounded by Chinese tourists. This was one of the worst Korean food experiences of my life. My kids were completely grossed out and they hardly ate. My wife, who can usually tolerate all manner of foods, even couldn 't finish her meal. The only thing that was good about the place was that they had soju (Korean liquor). Other than that, a completely forgettable experience. What really bums me about this place is that unsuspecting people who have never had Korean food will think that they are eating Korean food. Trust me people, this isn 't Korean, which is flavorful, fully of spices and delicious!! If you are looking for good authentic Korean food, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for pretend Korean food with Chinese twist, then this is the place for you.

Wonderful food, from the algae soup, to the chicken, the steamed seafood, to the bibimbap and up to the desert, which was green tea icecream. It was a dream come true for me to eat traditional, healthy and so tasteful corean food, in a wonderful and familiar atmosphere! I would go back every time I visit Barcelona!
