The area is a great escape from the bustle of the centre of the City, but traditional and beautiful with an antiques market and plenty to explore. The restaurant feels like a mountain village local very traditional, very Catalan. The menu is in Catalan only, but the staff speak a bit of English and are happy to elaborate in Spanish. They don't have many vegetarian options but did a great job on request. They were friendly and helpful and though we didn't book, they slotted us in but they clearly get busy so I'd recommend booking ahead if you can (or ask your hotel to.. . Great selection of wines. Good value and a real local experience.

It´s all wood and dark colours and feels very much like a private club. The clientele is very local and from the way they are received, clearly regulars. All this only adds to the charm. The lunch menu has plenty of options and the portions are tasty and plentiful. The food is seasonal, local, home made and very good. On a cold day this has to be one of the most inviting places in the neighbourhood to eat. If you want to be considered a local in Sarriá you must have eaten here.
