I tend to avoid the Rambla, but as i cross them to go to where I want to go I sometimes stop at Bopan for breakfast. It's better if you go in and take a look at the pastries before you order outside. The croissants are good, so is the coca, but what I enjoy most is the large glasses of fresh orange juice. Otherwise, it's a bakery/pastry shop like a lot of others. Being on top of the Rambla, it is also a lot more quie... View all feedback.
What Remie M doesn't like about Bopan Rambla:
While it is nice to sit out under cover, it carries a hefty surcharge. Inside you need to place and pay for your order, and try to find seating, and wait for your order to be delivered. Good hamburger and decent pizza averaging 9 to 12 Euros. Casual, informal dining with less service and cost inside..Service outside contingent to time and crowd. View all feedback.
We were really lucky to get seats at Bopan as it was about the only place open because of the protests. There was only 2 people serving and they worked hard to serve everyone. We had the pardon peppers, one of my favourite tapas dishes and a mixed cheese platter which had a really delightful goats cheese as part of the platter.
Yes, you get charged extra to sit outside, but that's not this restaurant, that's everywhere. If you don't want to pay the surcharge, don't sit outside! With that out of the way, we had dinner here last week. The food was very good, the waiter was extremely friendly and helpful, (and spoke good English if required), they had menus in English if desired, and the food came quickly. It's also a nice atmosphere, and a pleasant place to have a few glasses of wine and watch Barcelona go by. Would definitely eat here again.
Bad experience, lazy service, we arrived in the gazebo in the street and the chairs were dirty from previous customers. Terrible guacamole with chips broken...they sounded being the bottom of the bottim if the bag. Not bad were the wraps and the gazpacho, ok for tourists break but no more than this
Nice place, clean, with attractive food. the place lends itself to chatting with friends. good location
Life does not belong to man, it overcomes it because it has been received from God, but I take it away whenever I want.
