I tried their 'black ric... read more I had high expectations upon entering this restaurant. They had been mentioned by TimeOut to have some of the best paella in Barcelona. I tried their 'black rice '. It was delicious, rice being cooked perfectly, filled with lots of seafood. One of the better paellas I 've had. My qualm is that not all their food is to this standard. The 'pan con tomate ', a simple and hard to mess up dish was not very good. The bread was over-toasted and tasted a bit stale. Perhaps it is not always like this but I was disappointed with this specific dish. The prices are quite high, and I think you could find food to this caliber (if not better) elsewhere. That being said, I think what you are paying for at this restaurant is a beautiful restaurant atmosphere which overlooks the ocean. The location is great and the staff is very accommodating. If you don 't mind spending a little extra, I would recommend coming here for one of their paellas.
