This restaurant in Gracia is a typical fruit and vegetable business with many similar ones in the area.
I used to frequent this restaurant often, but I will not be returning for several reasons. Firstly, there are reports of mistreatment of workers by the owners, which goes against the supposed ecological concept of the shop. Additionally, I have purchased products in poor condition, such as avocados that were grey inside. Despite offering to exchange them, all of the avocados were bad. The owner seemed unconcerned about the quality of the products being sold. Furthermore, there have been instances where staff members have not worn masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it appears that the owners sympathize with conspiracy theories. While everyone is entitled to their beliefs, running a food business comes with a great responsibility that should not be taken lightly.
I went to this restaurant recently and found that it was overpriced and not particularly impressive. This update is a revision of my previous review from July 6, 2023.
I used to shop here frequently, but I will not be returning for several reasons. Some workers have faced mistreatment from the owners (labor harassment) which goes against the concept of an ecological shop. Additionally, the products for sale are often in poor condition. On two occasions, I purchased avocados that were rotten inside, and despite being offered replacements, all the avocados were bad. The owner seemed unaware or unconcerned about the issue. Products were not removed promptly, possibly to see if they would sell. Regarding the Covid situation, staff frequently do not wear masks and seem to have the support of the owners due to belief in conspiracy theories. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but when running a food business, there is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly.
I used to frequent this restaurant a lot, but I will not be returning for several reasons. Various workers have reported receiving poor treatment from the owners (a form of labor harassment) and that does not align with the concept of an ecological shop. They have also sold products in poor condition; I purchased avocados twice that were in bad condition (gray inside) and despite being offered a replacement, all the avocados were in the same state. The owner seemed aware of the issue but did not seem to care. Furthermore, the products were not removed from sale for several days, leading me to believe they were testing if they would still sell. In regards to the Covid situation, the staff often does not wear masks and it appears that the owners are sympathetic to conspiracy theories. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but running a food business carries a great responsibility and one should not play with something as serious as a pandemic.
