Grand Mumtaz Resorts - Bāramūla

Very good hospitality and staff service but.. The location of very difficult to get using Google and Waze. The operator and or reception was very slow in responding or unable to pick up call many times. That caused a lot of problem especially driving in the dark. Must improve on location map. Hotel is excellent but still under renovation of first floor. Use stairs.

In the heart of Gulmarg, walking distance from the famous Gondola ride, this hotel provides you a good service, food and can go an extra mile during a personal need. They don't offer much discounts and the price is high as all the hotels in the region have kept their price on higher side. They've an open garden where you can play badminton and small games with you family and colleagues (they provide football, racket and shuttle). The price goes very high touching almost 12000 per night during winters so if you're planning a stay in this hotel, book it in advance from an online website because you won't get any discounts in-person in this hotel.

I think I've already checked this place, but it still shows up to check again. A bit expensive in the first place, the deluxe rooms are ok. 14k per night is not worth it. Small rooms. Heaters are installed but do not contain the cold. The rooms are not athetic. You also need to check other rooms. Eating is okay. But the views are good when it snows. There are also other hotels in this location. Overall, the stay was good.

We were at Grand Mumtaz from November 10 to November 12. It was an amazing experience. The hotel staff was very hospitable and went out to make our stay comfortable. The food is also great and the rooms are large, comfortable and clean. This was my second visit to the accommodation and they exceeded my expectations. I would totally recommend staying here for anyone coming to Gulmarg.

The rooms deserve 5star. Very cozy and comfortable. Good quality linen and bedding. Located somewhat close to the market(20mins of walk). Its very close to Gandola ride and Khyber. The staff is very helpful and polite.
