What User doesn't like about Playa Azul:
The hotel is ok for an overnight stay. The bed wasn't that good but it's roomy and the restaurant hasba great view of the ocean. Thr greatest concern is the great amount of plastic dump at the coast of their portion. View all feedback.

Great place to eat great food at an affordable price. as they can see, the place is well kept and well maintained. we will be worth the visit.
Beautiful resort style hotel on the cliffs at the most beautiful coast you've ever seen. Service is excellent, but most staff does not speak English. Only reason I'm not rating the hotel with 5 stars is because of the mattress, which was severely sagged.

This is a casual hotel, great view and the food is very good. the food hands down i give it luxury hotel status. the rooms are dated but it's cabana meets country. the staff are very nice. but we had some bad luck with light. the electric plant blew out and we were stuck with no light, which means no air condition for my 2nd and 3rd night. the way my room was built i got zero air flow so most of the guests stayed in the pool till 12am. the owner did not give any accommodation like free water so that was very strange. but he did say if you leave we will give a consolidated. we decided to stay because in barahona it's very unsafe to drive at night because the roads curve and no light. he said it will be fix by tomorrow but it wasn't. the staff made our stay tolerable. This is an informal hotel, excellent view and the food is very good. the food will certainly give you the status of luxury hotel. the rooms are old-fashioned but sticks with the area, which is beautiful barahona. the staff is very kind. That's why it's not good to sting, because now I give this bad review. But he said if you leave, we'll give you a refund.
