Beautiful place. great staff. the food was good. the rooms were simple, but we don't mind. very relaxing, especially when sitting in front of the sea at 7 o'clock, just to meditate a bit. the price for the stay was unbeatable for the amount of peace they win from this place. love!

It is a great place to stop, rest and spend the night. then continue with your journey.

Here remained a large group from the usa. it was amazing! the rooms are beautiful and have air conditioning. the staff was very friendly and their eating was delicious. we swoop every day in the sea and had so much fun!

Correct name is: Hotel Pontevedra. Old cottage hotel complex in a very scenic location in the Southwest of the Dominican Republic which has not yet fallen victim to mass tourism. Knowledge of Spanish or an offline dictionary is essential. The food is excellent! The rooms are dark, very simple and relatively clean, at times smell a bit moist but can usually be aired out. Very quiet. The pool and restaurant is right next to the sea with a magnificent view. Getting up early to watch the sunrise is well worth it. The beach is a pebble beach, good swimmers can safely swim.
