It was honestly a great zoo, it’s good to see the animals actually well taken care of and good sized enclosures. The prairie dogs were my favorite, and the goats and donkey loved to be pet. View all feedback.
Free walkable small zoo. Lots of animals for the littles to enjoy. Plus, it's next to a nice playground too.

Great little zoo! Easy to walk and see all the animals. Admission is free but they do have donation boxes which we used to donate! The lone Prairie dog and the beaver (see video attached) could use a friend or two!! Worth the visit. Loved the owls!
Great place for younger children. Easy walkways. Small enough so that it dies not overwhelme you. Our age group was 18 months to 12 years old. Parking is close. A park, picnic was also there so you could spend a good few hours here. Price was right, free.
This is a FREE and publicly funded zoo, it’s an amazing asset to the area and community and somewhere I’ve loved coming for years. My mother came when she was young, she’s brought me, and now I bring my kids to this lovely little zoo! There is a park attached to the far end with tons of space, there are a lot of trees in the area providing shade so a nice spot to take a break is always available. A large parking lot leaves no worries for somewhere to park, there are a variety of spots near and far. They may have less than a traditional zoo but they make up for that with a relaxed and welcoming environment, it’s always a pleasure to make the trip out.
