He seated... read more Stopped in to try Hunter Lane today and we weren't disappointed. It was a busy lunch period but the front of house Dennis managed to find us a table. He seated us and we instantly felt welcomed. My coffee brought over by the barista Nick was hot and flavoursome. My partner and I ordered the pulled pork benedict and southern chicken burger. Even though they were busy our meals came out quickly and the presentation was something I hadn't seen before. The chef must take pride in each dish he puts on tables, and it was appreciated. The southern chicken burger flavours complemented each other and there was a generous amount of chicken. The pulled pork with Apple hollandaise was a nice take on the traditional benedict. I had a wonderful lunch at Hunter Lane and would recommend it to anyway wanting a delicious meal cooked with pride and care and served by welcoming and attentive staff.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and within a short time know your coffee order off by heart. The menu is fantastic and you are in Instagram heaven with the magnificent presentation. Even good old bacon and eggs looks amazing. There are a number of vegan and gluten free options available. It is licensed with a small but varied list of beers and wine. Dennis and his team are fantastic. Highly recommended.

I rang ahead to make a booking for the Vegans of Eltham group and the chef, the owner and the staff were extremely accommodating. I had a special need because I am fruitarian and so I asked if they could prepare me a fruit salad. Well! When I got there, I not just received a fruit salad but a watermelon work of art!! The chef is incredibly talented. I did a lot of head swivelling whilst there. Every dish that went out to customers was a work of art. I cannot express how grateful I was for the opportunity to eat there with such lovely people. Thank you Hunter Lane Rosanna. We will be back!
