I have been dining with friends and family at this restaurant for many years, but after not visiting for eight months, I recently took a friend from out of town. Seeing the cafe through her eyes was embarrassing and shocking. The back room had loose threads on the carpet, faded colors, missing wallpaper, and random stickers. The window frame had pencil marks from installation and the table tops were chipped. The menus were flimsy and dirty, giving a bad first impression. Despite enjoying our lunch, the lack of attention to detail in the restaurant's presentation made us question the kitchen's cleanliness. I give two stars for the affordable prices and prompt service, but after many years of patronage, I am hesitant to return.

I used to eat at this restaurant twice a week when I was a student at RMIT, and I still go there to eat because the food is great!

A while ago I heard about a cheese shop which was located in the industrial area of Thomastown but didn't know what the name was and didn't know where it

I will never return to this restaurant. The service is subpar. It took 20 minutes to receive our drinks despite only two other tables being occupied. The steak I ordered was overcooked and tough. When I cut into it, I discovered a pus-filled cyst in the middle. After alerting the waitress, the manager insisted it was just garlic from the sauce. I explained that it came from the center of the steak, not the sauce. The manager argued with me and even tried to make us pay for the uneaten steak. I refused to pay and will never return due to the horrible service and handling of the situation. I advise others to steer clear of this place. Avoid at all costs!

Found an instant favourite place hidden in the industrial area in Thomastown for lunch today.
