Matter Cafe - Banqiao District

It's a nice, little place that has a good menu. Wait times are minimal! We ordered and the food was at the table in about 10 minutes. The chicken wings were good, but could use a little less pepper. I ordered the roast beef burger. Lots of flavor, but a little tough to chew. The potato wedges were a little soggy, and a little underdone. The soup of the day was fantastic, especially when you dipped the fresh bread in it. For the price, the food was good. But the lack of an English menu was disappointing. The funny shaped glasses, while looking cool, were not very functional.

Food was great, especially the pulled pork rissoto bowl. The pesto seafood pasta was also very delicious. The chefs here know what they’re doing. Wait times were reasonable and staff very friendly. Prices are on the lower side. Would highly recommend.

This was my second time here and we came around lunch time so it was full and had to wait for 30 minutes for a table. After ordering , my friend’s food came within 10 minutes but mine came in 30 minutes. Definitely wouldn’t recommend ordering the soufflés they take forever, especially if you’re starving! Otherwise service is okay and the food tastes good.

Superb food quality!! Everything is so delicious. One of the best cafes I’ve been to. Also currently the best souffle in Taipei for me, so tender and the cream is heavenly even though usually I disliked cream.

It's a good place to enjoy any date time And also a place prefer to like.... recoding some meeting things.or like just couple going to avoid raining day in Taipei.
