A paradise for the palate. New menu items of chickens and waffles and sugar plums Martini were the choices well made. Beautiful seating, ambience and exceptional service for what we expect from The Tarratine: a first-class dinner. Come to Bangor and experience a historic building with a wonderful atmosphere, and experience food as it should be. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Tarratine:
The staff was great, drinks were fantastic. The food was good, but we pay more than well and it was certainly 't plentiful. Maybe if there were more food, or if the meal we ordered, it was important that this would be a 4- or 5-star rating. But I think paying these prices for something at home is inappropriate. The Tarratine Club building is a stunning historic landmark. Each room exudes a charming and intimate ambiance, adorned with thoughtful and warm decor. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive, skillfully keeping glasses filled and addressing our needs while remaining unobtrusive. The food was truly delicious, cooked to perfection and served in generous portions. The chef even visited our table, graciously accepting praise (and a hint of unwarranted criticism) from a few guests in our party. It was more than just a meal; it was an exceptional experience. As a Florida girl, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm a bit late in posting this review, but better late than never! I was surprised with a visit to the Tarratine on my birthday, and I have to say, the food was fantastic. However, the bar area was quite loud, making it less ideal for an intimate date. That said, it looked like a fun place to hang out. I'm eager to explore what other areas of the restaurant have to offer, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner at this venue, and it was simply stunning! The building and rooms are beautiful, and the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking. The service and food were excellent! While the menu is moderately priced, it's definitely worth it. If I had known how amazing this place was, we would have chosen to have our small wedding here instead! Thank you for all the care and accommodations. With love, Jim and Monica, the newlyweds.
Attended a wedding Saturday afternoon following into the evening, the help was impeccable, the dinner was delicious and lacking nothing! Decor for Christmas was unforgettable and really added to the wedding festivities! If you want an memorable experience this is the place to choose.
I have been to the Tarratine twice, The first time wasn't the greatest experience and I made a review about it. I had a munificent offer from one of the managers and I decided to give them a second chance because everyone deserves a second chance, my date and I went last Friday and it was amazing it totally changed my point of view for this restaurant. I had ordered a filet mignon which was spectacular and so flavorful and my date ordered these BBQ sliders which we both loved, and for dessert we had a homemade brownie a la mode and that was perfect. I talked with the owner of the Tarratine and apologized for the review and said how they totally changed my opinion on the Tarratine and will for sure come back, and I do plan on it soon because this restaurant is more than just a place to eat, you can do so many other things and that's one of the reasons why I love this place
