Contribute FeedbackFor those days when you want something homemade Thai and feel like having it while sitting near a fan, Moon House can be a good option. In this simple restaurant, you will find good food at affordable prices, although not as cheap as street carts. I like their curries, although to be honest, I like almost any curry cooked in Thailand. However, if you want it with rice, you have to order the curry and rice separately. And remember, the curry is spicy. It's delicious but spicy (even if you ask for it 'not spicy'). An alternative that won't set your mouth on fire is the 'chicken with coconut milk' (chicken in coconut milk, which by the way, is priced at 60 baht (one and a half euros), which is not bad at all. In addition to curries and coconut milk, at Moon House, you will also find tom yum soup, vegetable stir-fry, and some seafood, among other things. The condiments are always served separately in a little basket that even includes ketchup. The menu also includes Western dishes such as sandwiches (70 baths, almost 2 euros), chicken fillet (120 baths, about 3 euros), and German sausages (120 baths). However, I would not recommend ordering anything Western here, as it is not their specialty. Anything Thai will be a thousand times better and if it doesn't fill you up or you don't like it, you can always go to the 7/11 next door and eat something familiar until you are satisfied. Enjoy your meal!
For those days when you crave authentic Thai cuisine and want to enjoy it while sitting near a fan, Moon House is a great option. This simple restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices, although not as cheap as street vendors. Their curries are a standout, even better than any I've had in Thailand. You'll need to order your curry and rice separately, and be prepared for some heat - unless you opt for the milder "chicken with coconut milk." In addition to curries, Moon House also serves tom yum soup, a popular seafood dish. The menu also includes Western dishes like herring, chicken steak, and German sausages, but I'd recommend sticking to the Thai specialties. If you're still hungry, you can always grab something from the nearby 7/11. Overall, Moon House is a solid choice for a satisfying Thai meal.
