Absolutely incredible food and service. Highly recommend! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stayed at the Samala Hotel and was able yo enjoy the breakfast at the Mariga restaurant. The breakfast had plenty of variety and was well seasoned and tasty. I also ordered room service for the Mariga and the food was delicious. The duck panang curry was so delectable I was so sad it was finished. Definitely a great place to get authentic Thai food in Bangkok. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿400–500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
2nd visit: I had the Thai Basil beef with rice and it was just as good as the 1st visit. I also ordered the stir fried chicken with cashew nuts, it was different than what I had expected, in that it was drier but tasted really good. The chicken was lightly coated and fried with mellow spices. It was served with stir fried peppers and onion and cashew. I enjoyed it. I could eat it as a appetizer on a return visit. They 're catering to a expat community and it 's totally working. Great atmosphere, calm, piano mood music, moody lighting and comfortable seating and tables. Totally worked for me to escape the Bangkok chaos just steps from the door. 1st visit: I had the Chao Khon Lai Chai which was presented in a very visually pleasing manner. Followed by Tom Yum Goong, which was good but not great. My favourite was the Thai Basil with minced meat which the chef prepared with a lot of wok hei which made the dish really smoky. Served with steamed rice it was perfect. Fight , yup that 's his name provided awesome service, and lots of great local tips. My thanks to him for his information. Definitely worth giving this place a 2nd try for other menu items. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
