Overall, the restaurant is pretty good. None of the curries are suitable for vegetarians/vegans, and the pad thai is not vegan. The price includes a two-hour meal with a ticket for the observation deck. You can pick out the fruit you want, give it to them, and they will cut it up and bring it to your table. I don't typically like durian, but the grilled durian was surprisingly delicious. The cost is 490 baht per pers... View all feedback.
What Nimo doesn't like about Baiyoke Sky Fruit Buffet:
This was the most bland fruit I have ever tasted. The selection is limited to only 5 or 6 fruits, all of which were flavorless. For vegans, this may be your only option as the other dishes offered, such as pad thai, cakes, and soup, contained eggs, dairy, and chicken. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lacking, with an unattractive room and harsh white lighting, with no view of the outside. To top it off, the... View all feedback.
We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and were pleased to find a breakfast buffet. There was a large selection of fresh Thai dishes, including durian. The buffet is open from 10am to 9pm, but seating is limited to 1.5-hour time blocks. For example, we arrived at 11:15am and our time block was from 10:30am to 12pm, so we only had 45 minutes to eat. Overall, the food was excellent, although some items were a bit too sweet for my taste. The buffet was priced at $16 (390 THB), which we found to be worth it.
I got to try many fruits that were new to me with my first durian. As a vegan, I typically eat fresh fruits, candied fruits, and sticky rice. I noticed that dried shrimp were served as a topping for a fruit salad, so the buffet is not entirely vegetarian.

I had the opportunity to taste a variety of fruits I had never tried before, including durian for the first time. As a vegan, I mostly enjoyed fresh and candied fruits, along with sticky rice. However, I did notice that dried shrimp was being served as a topping for a fruit salad, so the buffet is not completely vegetarian-friendly.
