This place just oozes old world charm. It’s like stepping into a colonial era coffee house. The food is great too. Roast chicken with stuffing, Prawn Biryani, English breakfast, Pork ribs, Chocolate mousse- all were top notch. Only the steak in Steak Onions was tad overcooked, even though I had ordered it medium cooked. Planning to go back for some of their breakfast treats once the situation normalises a bit. Everything just the way I remember it from years back! Happy feel!
Nostalgia all the way: Koshy's has been in the city for decades and has gathered a loyal following ever since.<br/ <br/ One can see venerated Bangaloreans (even celebrities) frequent the place and enjoy the western breakfast offerings. The mutton cutlet, Spanish omelette, fish chips and roast chicken are must-try dishes here (with a pint of bottled beer, of course). To add, the options for vegetarians are minimal. The service has been the same for a long time, both in terms of personnel and quality. There are two seating options available: non-AC (called Paradise cafe) and AC (called Jewel Box), one is sure to find a spot in either.<br/ <br/ Overall, a must visit if you're in Bangalore and crave for the good old days.
Definitely a legendary outlet . It has the old world charm of a cafe bar. Any dish on the menu will taste fine. It’s not a gourmet stuff . So don’t expect high dining standards. But a must visit.. parking could be a challenge. We tasted mutton toast and Bombay toast. Both didn’t disappoint us. Will surely visit again.
