I used to live in Jayanagar a decade ago and my Sunday mornings were usually spent deciding which dosa establishment to visit that morning. Considering it is Jayanagar and good dosa joints are plenty, I think in a couple of years I became a bit of a dosa-coffee connoisseur. And this was one of my usual go to places along with UD. Along with the regular Karnataka breakfast fare, this establishment serves the best holige. To this day, it remains the place where Bele and Kai holige are procured for almost all the festivals at our home.
Best place for the best idly and dosas..<br/ The taste is delicious and awesome..<br/ <br/ I would suggest everyone to not miss this place..
Ambience 3.5/5 Food 5/5 Service 4/5 VFM 5/5 Parking No<br/ <br/ One of Bangalore's uniqueness is the abundance of excellent Darshinis, or quick breakfast places. Ganesh Darshan at Jayanagar 4th block is another wonderful place for a wholesome breakfast. Their USP is Village type fiid without any artificial colours or flavours. We had their Banaras Dosa, a novel take on Disa with crisp bread cubes embedded in it, and topped with masala. The rava dosa was hige and extremely filling. There was a thin paste of herbs on the inside that added a wonderful flavour. The mini idlis were good and mu son gobbled them up. Other must haves are mango holige and black gram holige. Wash it all down with filter coffee and go home smug and content!<br/
Ambiance: Ganesh Darshan one of the famous restaurants to visit in Jayanagar 4th block. It is located at a corner which makes it easily noticeable. The place was crowded even though I visited on an afternoon of a weekday. It is self-served and outside seating is available, but beware of rats : <br/ <br/ Food: I had ordered a Masala Dosa and a Mini Meal which were reasonably priced. Masala dosa was awesome and crispy even though it was not oily. Mini Meals was filling but the taste was average. Saw many people ordering akki roti, couldn't try it though.<br/ <br/ Service was quick. Overall I loved this place, definitely would recommend others to try it.<br/ Must try: Masala Dosa
