I visited the restaurant to mark our 6th anniversary celebrations... The spread was delicious ... We started off with Gondhoraj ghol along with Panchforon grilled fish and Rasoon Achari Grilled Chicken... For our main course we gorges on Chittal Peti Kalia, Mochar Ghonto, Aam Kasundi Begun, Morolla Maacher Peeyaji with steamed rice... Special mention goes to Gondhorajer Ghol... It was really a refreshing drink... And... View all feedback.

The ambience is good, food of course is delicious but a bit highly priced compared to other Bengali restaurant in the city... Besides, the behaviour of the staff deserves special mention too... In all the space is warm, inviting and cozy...
I always like the food that they serve at Esplanade, though the cost is a bit on the higher side but it is worth it in my opinion.
We went Esplanade on 10th Oct 2016 during Nabami and had a delicious buffet lunch. All the items were very tasty. As a bengali we should visit this place as it's a place where you feel like in Kolkata. The ambience is also nice with soothing music. Overall its a very good experience. Its my 3rd time at Esplanade and many more to come.
Awesome food... Nice ambiance.. Food worth your money...
Oh well, what can I say! It's so pleasing and nice when you get a chance to write a review with a smile, and the food is so good that even after driving back home you want to make sure you appreciate these guys!<br/ <br/ Hope I made it quite clear by my mood after a foodgasm state. Let's start with the dish that blew my mind, Bhetki Pathuri. All I can say is it's better than the best places that I have had in Kolkata, and what Sorse these guys have used. Blew my mind!<br/ <br/ We ended up trying a lot of food, highlights apart from the one mentioned above were Fish Orly (quite brilliant), Mangshor Chop, by far the best Mishti Doi outside Kolkata and finally the Nolen Gur Ice cream.<br/ Hats Off to you guys for this amazingly cooked meal. Thank you and keep it up!
