I'd been to this place after I heard about the joint at church Street from a friend. I had Indian summer mango fizz for drink and cheesy quesadilla. The snack was ok but the drink was very nice with the passion bombs which was the interesting part of the drink. Would definitely try other things this place has to offer. View all feedback.
What Charlie Laverdetson doesn't like about Big Straw:
One of the worst food I had in the recent past. Very unhappy with the food quality and price. No flavor in the sandwich which was poorly made. Would never visit this place again. View all feedback.
In a crowded place like Sahakar Nagar if you get thirsty or want to have some snacks this is a place where you can explore. A small place located near Reliance Digital where we get Iced tea, Lemonades, Floats, Fizz and many more. I love exploring the wide range of iced tea falvours with additional chewables like mango jelly, passion bombs, blueberry bombs, lychee bombs. I would suggest Zen green with some jelly and passion bombs. And with them I had masala fries and loaded nachos. This place is one of the must visit in Sahakar Nagar where you can hangout with friends and enjoy.
Zen green tea with basil seed is a musy try. a perfect delightful drink to have after a rigourous workout. Also the coldcoffees is total worth.
I have been to this many a times and I am making justice by reviewing now. All their drinks are really good to try, perhaps to have them with their big straw. :P Pizzas are worth ordering but these days they are screwing it up with french fries and not-good staff.
In the past few months my girl friend mentioned The Big Straw about 10 times. She definitely loved the place ever since she visited it in Sahakara Nagar and was egging me to visit her so we could try out the place. She kept on mentioning the bombs those guys use in their Fizzes and Floats and how everyone she knew was now a fan of these drinks. So the last time that I visited her, we went out to try out this place. Well, seating wise there isn't much space as these guys have just made a road side stall and bolted down a few chairs and tables. Plus, on a busy day it can get a bit dusty to sit around here. However, even on a quite afternoon these guys are pretty busy as people generally flock around them for their drinks. Despite this, they do seem to be a bit under staffed to even handle the quietest of afternoons. With these unpleasantries out of the way, let me switch gears and praise these guys for their mind blowing drinks. We made our way to The Big Straw after a pretty long lunch, so it goes without saying that drinks and desserts were all we could accommodate. To try out both, the Fizz and the Floats, we decided to have 2 floats and a Fizz. One of us stuck with Coffee but let's move past that. The Yellow Submarine, Dew Drop and Indian Summer were absolutely amazing. While anyone can make the ice cream floats we get these days, The Big Straw makes them different with their little pockets of surprise. The flavors of Mango and Peach in the drinks were amazing, but the alginate bombs that these guys added to each of the drinks were pure joy. Each time that we would suck up one of the bombs a slight tick would cause it to explode and instantaneously cause a flavor warp in our mouth. These bombs were a perfect balance of strudiness and frailty. For while they survived most of the swirling and drinking, they would time the explosion perfectly for our tongues. Amongst the Floats and Fizz I definitely preferred the Floats, though the bombs took my heart away. Now with the onset of summer, I eagerly wait to visit Sahakara Nagar again and have another of these drinks. Cheers!!!
This is a great place ...kids just go crazy...it is a open place so we feark out.... the small blasters ball and the fizz makes it a really different taste. .. and we can make our own mix as well. . I visit often here....
