What User doesn't like about The Bear Street Tavern:
Good gluten free pizza and sandwich options, however when my pizza was brought to me I asked “this is the gluten free crust, right?” as I always do and I was told “yes.” I began eating it and then someone came back to the table to tell me that it actually wasn’t the gluten free crust. Not sure where the error occurred, but they did bring me a new gf pizza and it was pretty good! I’d just triple check next time View all feedback.
Best vegan pizza ive ever had and one of the best pizzas ive had time. very high quality ingredients and the crust is amazing. bonus points for using violife cheese and not daiya
Arguably the best vegan pizza I’ve had. The cheese melts so nicely and they have vegan dipping sauces too. I got the margarita pizza with vegan cheese sauce. So good!! A great find in Banff.
I got the margherita pizza with vegan cheese. It was tasty, though the cheese reminded me daiya (not sure what brand is used) and I don’t love daiya texture. Still a great option for a pizza dinner. Updated from previous review on 2021-10-17
Had the Wheeler Hut and Margarita pizza (with vegan cheese). Both were delicious and the cheese was so melted I had to double check it was vegan. Would highly recommend this place!
They charge extra 2.50) for vegan cheese, but it is worth it, because it tastes delicious and melts like real cheese!
