Very delicious food! Our waitress, I can not remember her name, was AMAZING!! All the staff was very friendly. Atmosphere was wonderful. We were surprised it was not more busy, being it was so busy around Banff that day. They have a treasure chest for the klids to pick something out of after their meal. Kids loved it! What User doesn't like about Ricky's All Day Grill Banff:
This restaurant is in the Elk & Avenue hotel. The hotel that we were assigned to by the Rocky Mountaineer. We, a party of 4, ate dinner here. Despite the fact that they had 3 servers waiting on around 25 people in the restaurant, it took over 2 hours for a meal. I can only assume that something was wrong in the kitchen. Great location with a supermarket that has everything you could possibly need. Prices are a bit high, so be prepared to spend from your own pocket. I spent $110 on groceries for the week.
The restaurant is located in a stunning shopping market. We encountered a friendly security guard in the parking lot and had a pleasant conversation with them. We felt very welcomed in this lovely city. Thank you!
The butter chicken and rice were delicious. However, the samosas and empanadas we ordered were just okay, but they were served cold. Overall, it's a decent spot to grab some affordable meals and snacks when in the area.

IGA has everything you could possibly need. The produce looked fresh and well stocked. They have a few quick meal options if you just want to grab something and go. The store has pretty much everything you need. We needed some ointment and the first aid/personal hygiene area had good variety. I was impressed with this IGA because I have been to some more rural IGA stores and the variety/quality was not as good. The cashier we had was not very friendly, but maybe she was overwhelmed with how busy it was. I inquired about her day and had a one way conversation while she just stared. I hope my positivity would brighten ? her day.
