After abandoning the Maple Leaf (see separate review) our options were limited on a Friday night in Banff. We tried Earls and got a table within 15 minutes. Busy lively restaurant but not too noisy. Service stood out - really friendly and cheerful, and cheered us all up. Good variety of relatively straightforward food - between us we had a burger, chicken curry, fish & chips and Cajun chicken. All were good and reasonably priced. So not haute cuisine but definitely recommended.
We had a Saturday evening dinner with 5 adults seated in the upstairs resturant. Great prompt service. Great food. Earls is fairly consistent throughout there restaurants so always a good choice!
We enjoyed the Cajun chicken and BBQ pork ribs. Our server Hannah was very friendly, she advised with the best menu items. Next stop Vancouver , we will try Earl there.
Great lunch on a rainy day in Banff! The service was good and it was a lovely place to sit. We shared a piece if coconut cream pie for desert - very tasty.
Consistant restaurant chain in BC and Alberta, this one is a little more less corporate than most but fun, its had a new addition on the grand level since the last time we went which is the space that has the happy hour menu. We went a couple time for happy hour light eats and nice drink prices.
Earls restaurant in Banff offers a variety of dishes with mixed reviews from customers. While some enjoyed the prompt service and great food, others found the atmosphere touristy and the service slow. The menu offers delicious options like ribs, Mediterranean linguine, and fettuccine Alfredo. However, those with dietary restrictions may find the gluten-free options lacking. Overall, Earls seems to be a popular choice for locals and tourists alike, with a lively atmosphere and friendly service.

Another great Earls, serving consistently good food you would expect from other Earls location. Service was a bit slow even though it wasn’t busy. The best part of this location was that it still had the Californian pizza on their menu whereas all the other locations don’t anymore!!!! I was super excited and ordered it, and it was everything I remembered! Shrimp, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, cheese and fluffy light pizza crust deliciousness! When in Banff, I will come again to enjoy this mouth watering pizza! Hopefully they don’t remove it from this location’s menu.
First Earl's we visited and good experience,Earl's is must visit place in Banff and other locations in Western Canada, rye which is like local whisky one must try
After an unexpected long drive to get to Banff due to highway closures my boyfriend and I set up camp and had no desire to cook so went to Earls because we love it back home. This location was great to and staff was awesome. Happy hour starting at 9 everyday is also the best. Steak and sushi and Hunan king pao are favorites and tasted great.
Not too different than any other earls. It's nice how the bar and the restaurant are separated by a whole floor so if you're looking for a quieter meal, you can have it. Boyfriend enjoys their pasta and I enjoy their vegetarian burger. They are a bit pricy though.
We enjoyed eating at the Jasper location so much that we decided to go for it again in Banff. The room was a little too noisy and very cold (the host said she could do nothing about it) and the view was far from the amazing landscape we had a few days before, but the food kept us happy. It is also a little more expensive. The service was nice and helpful, but not too assisting which I actually appreciate, as an european. The food was great as before we ordered salmon and kung pow yet another time and also a very filling warm kale salad and two burgers. Everything was delicious and came in very decent portions. Food is expensive in Canada, but this place is definitely value for money relatively to most other places I have been to in Alberta.

I visited Earls in Banff specifically because they had a plant-based section on their menu. My meal exceeded my expectations and I was impressed. I went back for a second meal and it was just as good as the first. I highly recommend this restaurant.
After thinking that I would have to subsist on vegan food bars and dehydrated camp entrees in this meat eaters paradise, Happy Cow showed me information for Earls. Had to do a double-take when I saw the plant based menu. The Vegan Angry Tofu Lettuce Wraps are outstanding. Angry sauce is more like “perturbed” than “angry”, but very tasty even while very mild in spice. A definite go-to option for us veg-heads. Highly recommended!
To try. The beyond burger was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to other vegans or anyone looking for a tasty plant-based meal.
We had the cauliflower vegan wings (delicious) and the beyond meat burgers. Great patio.
I had the quinoa and avocado powerbowl and was disappointed to find that it was mostly lettuce and barely any quinoa. Maybe their other vegan options are better. The restaurant itself has a pleasant vibe though.
