Melissa's Missteak

This is one of my favourite places in Banff because the food is delicious and it has character for days!! The menu is not modern but more like 70’s steak house So many classic high quality options and even thought pizza menu is tiny, they will make you whatever kind and size you like. I definitely recommend checking this place out for dinner if you’re in town!

Great service and solid food. Prices were good as well. Had the sirloin steak sandwich with soup and the Gorgeous George burger with fries and everything was excellent. Great atmosphere, albeit a little older of an establishment. Would highly recommend. Many other menu options looked great also.

I have been here multiple times. Had a fantastic breakfast tried their banana bread French toast and it was the best French toast I have ever had!

We went to Melissa's on the recommendation of our hotel who assured us it was one of the original institutions in town. The decor is very warm and rustic and the views of the street outside is nice. The food was unfortunately not that great. The french onion soup and the burger I had were both underwhelming. Also didnt find the service too great.

Been here several times for breakfast, every time needed to wait for a while but not too long. I like their wood structured interior decor. Food was good, dining atmosphere is lovely.
