We ate there one evening and were pleasantly surprised. The quality/combination of the food was superb and the service was very good. We had the sea bass with chorizo, not to be missed! It is a little expensive but I think it was worth it. They have menus like: 28euros for a starter and a main and 26 for a main and a desert. View all feedback.
What Martina Moreno doesn't like about Le Mil' Pat:
On the street of that restaurant, there were 3 recommended restaurants by our hotel. We went for this one as the menu and cuisine sounded more creative. The presentation was very nice but the taste did not match our expectation. Too much sauce, fish over cooked, too sweet... Everything was too much and killed each dishes. A shame as the menu was very attractive. Finally, only one waiter so servuce a bit slow. Better... View all feedback.
Under the new female chef, the place looks the same but the cooking lacks the flair of Mathieu the previous owner. I had the chicken as main course and the cheese as dessert. Both were competently prepared but the chicken lacked seasoning and both missed something in presentation. Whereas as previous years we had been several times to Mil Pat, this time it was once only
Super!!!!! Best clams and linguine ever! The Peppersauce they give you on the side is so good I could drink Not too spicy just adds a little more flavor
We ate dinner at this restaurant with another couple. The food is very nice and price is correct. The restaurant is small, so it is not the ideal place to go with a small child. They do not have baby seats, so either bring your own or have your child sit on your lap. Service is relatively fast. Desserts are AMAZING!
We have known Mil Pat over many years and several owners. All have offered unusual dishes presented in often quirky styles. the food last night was quite rich and not for those on a diet but my piping hot cheese and Corsican ravioles was delicious. The €28 menu with 6 choices for each course is very good value. The waiter was intelligent and knowledgeable.
Second time I visit this restaurant and always perfect. The menu is varied and renewed and the service really friendly. Definitely a must try in Bandol !
