However, we were seated in a dull l... read more We stopped by without a reservation and found the restaurant beautifully decorated for Christmas with lovely table settings. However, we were seated in a dull looking bar with a large TV playing sports and no atmosphere. We were disappointed not to be offered a table in the empty restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was good quality, but it was typical bar food like burgers, chicken goujons, and steak sandwiches. We would consider returning if we could get a table in the restaurant, but not in the bar.

Jacqueline discreetly made sure we were all... read more From the moment we arrived for our family celebration at lunchtime on a Sunday we were extremely well looked after. Jacqueline discreetly made sure we were all catered for, nothing was too much bother. A warm welcome when we arrived. Our previously booked meals, starters and mains arrived to table all at the same time. A great variations of meals to choose from. Starters excellent followed by plentiful mains with ample side dishes. No scare of food but most of all the food tasted great. We had tea, or coffee, with celebration cake to follow. Cups were refilled and boxes supplied, if required, to take cake home. Service was superb and so pleasant. Price great value. Jacqueline made sure she said goodbye wishing us all a Happy Christmas. Definitely will be back. Thank you so much.
