Tropica Bungalow Resort - Ban Talat Nua

THIS REVIEW IS FOR TROPICA RESTAURANT ONLY. Very good, big restaurant on Patong beach road in a prime location, very close to Bangla Road. We ate here 2 times. In total we ordered 3 thai dishes and a western dish. All came in good portions, presented well. All good and tasty.First time the staff was attentive and polite. The second time we wanted an extra spoon and I waived to the lady with the very short hair who was on the front. Although she was at a very short distance and I waived and called a few times and she definitely saw me, she totally ignored my calls and we had to wait for 10 minutes for someone else to come by. For this incident I put on service 2 stars only. Also, the ladies working in the kitchen during the day shift were very noisy, shouting and fighting ? to each other all the time and disturbing customers. Prices on the expensive side, but worth it in my oppinion. Recommended for a good meal by the beach if you are not on a tight budget.

Great location, staff very friendly, bungalow very nice. Take bungalow 25 to be a little away from the noise, but it will be till 4am so just go out till then and have fun.

Great location, decent stay and spacious rooms. Will definitely opt to stay here again primarily because of it's strategic placement in the heart of the most popular places to visit.

Loved the property right beside the Bangla road. The road's super busy but once you enter the premises, it feels like you are away from all the hustle, in a jungle. Although we didn't have a beach facing room, we never felt the need because you just have to cross the road. Complementary Breakfast and other Food at the restaurant were also good.

This rating is for the restaurant. If you want to spend a lot of money on little food and poor service, this is the right place for you. With 3 ordered dishes, the waiters are not able to remember them.
