What User doesn't like about Grandma Ting's Kitchen:
Terrible food. Shrimp cakes here were frozen and disgusting. The only saving grace of the menu was the fresh coconuts. I refused to pay and eventually we had to call the Thai police to settle the matter. I gave them a bite of the food and they too spat it out in disgust. After having tried Thai food all around the world, this is certainly the worst. View all feedback.
Fine restaurant with Thai food and a English menu card. I got the pineapple fried rice which was one of the dishes I had to try before leaving Thailand. The combination of the rice with the sweet pineapple and seafood is good and definitely not disappointing. The service is not that quick, probably cause it was busy. The prices are okey, but not cheap, but that's to be expected in Patong. For people who don't have any clue about the Thai cuisine, this is a good place to start.
Cozy atmosphere, nice food with reasonable price. Various Thai dishes for you to choose. Suitable for those looking for authentic Thai food but not for those looking for fine dining.
21 Nov 22: Back in Patong. Same quality of food. So nice staff. Love it here. Open from 12:00. Great chicken soup for 50 Baht. Tasted other stir fries as well. I can recommend this kitchen and the super friendly staff. Owner always present which is a good sign and ensures continuous quality.
The staff are decent and courteous.I ordered shrimp fried rice papaya salad coconut shake. The food was served fresh . The salad was spicy yet tasty. Brings in all the flavours with it . Highly recommended
This place offers great food at good pricing. We visited the restaurant 2 nights in a row due to the amazing experience we had on the 1st night. We ordered different types of dishes (they have plenty of options), and all of them were spot on delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
