We ordered Noodles with Chicken , an... read more The restaurant was buzzing with activity on a Saturday evening, and we were immediately seated as we had booked in advance. We ordered Noodles with Chicken , and a variety of Sushi which included one with Shrimp , one with crab meat and one...with chicken . The taste on each one of these was really lip smacking and finger licking. It took time for our meal to come but all that wait frustration vanished once we dug in. Recommended!!

I stumbled in recently after a terrible experience being ignored at Brauerei Spezial, and had a lovely meal with a cosmopolitan and multi-lingual staff. Real crab in the California...roll!! It's right across the street from the Best Western in Bamberg (which I also highly recommend) and the wait staff was so delightful *I returned for lunch the next day It didn't hurt that it was Monday and just about everything else in town was closed, but still. A lovely bento box the second time. Just go.

The sushi menu was large and the non-sushi options were varied. Everyone had something different and all were pleased. However it is not an inexpensive restaurant.

The icing on the cake was the staff's lovely way of wishing me a happy birthday and giving us a free wine/espresso with Japanese pancakes. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back

Then off to Ichi-san. We made a reservation by phone the day before and got a table without any problems. We parked directly opposite in the parking garage and after crossing the street we were right in front of the door. After a warm welcome we were shown to the table and started with a nice warm sake wine. This was followed by a nice soup, sushi, dumplings, fried vegetables and a delicious matcha ice cream for dessert. All dishes were delicious, of very high quality and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was good and the ambience is simple and elegant. We felt comfortable. The staff took good care of us, but we had to wait a little longer that day. But it wasn 't a problem for us for a cozy evening without time pressure. There was a lot going on and so the timing was still okay
