Immediate contact tracing forms to fill out. Masks social distancing strictly enforced. Food was delicious, orders came out...just as requested. No modifications to meals allowed, although the food was well plated. Restaurant was very clean all throughout, to include restrooms. Gorgeous spacing with upstairs ground level seating. We enjoyed our meal in the best sushi in bamberg. Thank you

It wor... read more Having lived in Asia for years, I was delighted to find this brilliant Japanese place in Bamberg. The food is really authentic and you could be in Japan. It worked out at thirty euros per person with a glass of wine each, so not...cheap, but definitely worth it if you crave high quality sushi and sashimi. The tempura was light and crisp, the udon broth was perfect and the sushi was fresh and tasty. Nothing to complain about

The icing on the cake was the staff's lovely way of wishing me a happy birthday and giving us a free wine/espresso with Japanese pancakes. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back

Then off to Ichi-san. We made a reservation by phone the day before and got a table without any problems. We parked directly opposite in the parking garage and after crossing the street we were right in front of the door. After a warm welcome we were shown to the table and started with a nice warm sake wine. This was followed by a nice soup, sushi, dumplings, fried vegetables and a delicious matcha ice cream for dessert. All dishes were delicious, of very high quality and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was good and the ambience is simple and elegant. We felt comfortable. The staff took good care of us, but we had to wait a little longer that day. But it wasn 't a problem for us for a cozy evening without time pressure. There was a lot going on and so the timing was still okay
