We were a little unsure entering the building as it was a public holiday and not many places seemed open. After a long day driving we were so happy to find this place.

Vanessa was a great hostess. They were short-staffed and our main courses took a bit longer than usual, so she gave us our drinks on the house. My pork cordon-bleu and fries with mayo was also excellent.

Highly recommend the Falknis Burger a delightful blend of pork, beef, and sheep meat that was absolutely delicious. The schnitzel was decent, but the unexpected highlight? Discovering my new favorite mayonnaise Thomy! A perfect start to this adventure.

The inside of the restaurant feels a bit more like someone’s home, kinda like we had been invited over for dinner, which felt like a true local experience. The food was amazing we had the flädlesuppe, the paprikaschnitzel, and the spiess with a variety of meats, all of which were bursting with flavour. We learned that the restaurant has been in the same family for four generations, which just made it extra special for us. Would definitely recommend!
