Anne's Pantry Balwyn

I have visited this place for years and have always enjoyed an almost authentic banh mi experience. I regularly get a tofu band mi that was formerly $7, which is a good offer! they are similar to in vietnam. earlier in the year they have increased their price to $8.5, understandably. their quality remained the same, so I continued to visit. today I visited and ordered my usual, then the dame did not ask if I wanted to pate (no) or mayo (yes) and I usually extra hoisin sauce (no extra charged.) to my shock they calculated me $10.4 for the banh mi, the did not include the mayo or the Hoisin sauce at all! the dame said all these things are now extra cost! what for a sweat I essentially sweat a dry baguette filled with a carrot, gurke, tofu and coriander. how can they sell a baguette / banh mi without spread or sauce, which should originally come and still dramatically increase their price? unfortunately no longer a fan of this place.

Have only eaten here a few times and have ordered the same item each time. But I can say they make nice Vietnamese Roast pork rolls

Okay so I 've read a few negative reviews here but my experience after two visits was consistent. The staff are lovely and the hot chocolates were very nice. The neenish tarts are totally delish, I am a freak for theirs. I haven 't tried anything savoury yet but on my second visit here which was a sunny Saturday morning on 18 June 2022 when mum and I sat outside enjoying our warm beverages, a jubilant man exited Anne 's pantry, takeaway coffee in hand, all smiles and said to me great café, their coffees are beaut! I told him the hot chocolates are delish too and he replied Thanks, I 'll try one next time! True story!

Fantastic food and drinks . Great variety and fabulous staff ladies. You won't be disappointed!

I didn't find a choice of 0. The bread is yesterday, the meat is of unknown date. Totally rubbish!
