Stovetop - Balwyn North

Stovetop 's kitchen is currently making the burgers for MOFO, just down the street. So you can get a drink and a burger at Stovetop. I tried a vegie burger and was pleased with the taste and quality of the burger. Salad items were fresh and the pickles were a great offset to the bean pattie. The downside is one I have seen many times with premium burgers. The bun is relatively small, piled high with fillings, which fall out the side and the sauces ooze over you. You have food all over your face and hands, plus the contents of the burger remain in the bag. The service at Stovetop is basic. You only get what you specifically ask for.

Good atmosphere, great food, and very attentive service. Menu is good for any body and everybody! Highly recommend and will visit again

Had scrambled eggs or sourdough and black tea for brekky this Anzac Day eve. A nice pot of tea filled up 3 cups, along with two slices of sourdough with the eggs which were nice and fluffy. All good, service good And all for $14.

I had a wonderful experience at this breakfast spot. The food was delicious, the decor was lovely, and the coffee was excellent. I especially enjoyed the mushrooms and goats cheese breakfast - it was perfect.

Throughout the week, I have been exploring breakfast options near my hotel that are just a short walk away. Stovetop is a bright and open restaurant with a friendly staff. The coffee was excellent and they had a great variety of breakfast choices available.
