A friendly young woman took my order and brought a simple chicken sandwich (they were out of coleslaw) for my husband and a plain scone for me. I had asked for cream, but they didn’t have any. The scone had been heated in a microwave and became quite hard as it cooled. When I asked inside if the scone might be from the day before, the man behind the counter, who appeared to be in charge, immediately agreed and offered a refund — which was appreciated. I declined the refund but requested half a chicken sandwich with just one slice of bread. He promptly said this was impossible to make. Confused, I said, “Just like you would at home,” to which he replied, “You’re not at home now!” Some people really shouldn’t work in customer service. Sadly, the menu options also seemed quite limited.
