Our server took about 10-... read more My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice.

The food was good, but we got stuck in the front window table in the corner and had subpar service. At first it was hard to tell who our server was. Then is see... read more The food was good, but we got stuck in the front window table in the corner and had subpar service. At first it was hard to tell who our server was. Then is seemed our server was taking care of every table there and was stretched a bit thin. Though she was nice, I had to get up a few times to get things I needed. We refilled our own waters with a pitcher that was on the bar. Luckily the place is BYOB, so our wine was on the table. The restaurant itself seemed dirty to me. There were flies hovering around us throughout our meal. We killed at least 3 ourselves. There is no theme to the restaurant; it seems like mix and match which is not very cohesive or particularly welcoming. The bathroom was gross and at one point someone was vacuuming behind the bar for at least ten minutes. I don't care what happened, there is no excuse for that.
