What Brouwman Pieter doesn't like about Sammy's Trattoria:
Food is absolutely top notch and not overly pricey by post-pandemic standards. The service was a bit inattentive, though. Our waiter was stretched thin, yes, but also came across as a little disengaged. Maybe he’s just a quiet guy, but we never got the glass of water we asked for twice. At least it was professional, no fake camaraderie. He actually boxed our leftovers for us, which I like. The place was pretty loud.... View all feedback.
We loved the place and would go back. 2 caves 1 they automatically add a 20% tip, but it is not listed on the menu and they are told after the fact when they bring the menu. I mentioned it to the manager and she was happy to remove it. as far as I am concerned, the offer was sufficient and I had the tip. 2. we ordered 2 chiantis through the glass. the bartender was gone from the bar, so our waitress poured 1 and 1/2 glasses montepulciano and filled the 1/2 glass with a rosso. I doubled the bottles with the bartender (kudos was brilliant while waiting at the bar for the rest of my group. the total service was slow. would there be another chance!
Celebrated a birthday at sammy’s and they were not disappointed! the service was wonderful. our server was enthusiastic and enthusiastic. the food was delicious. we had a great time and laugh. sammy is the best!
We recommend sammys! it was an excellent eating and great ambiente! we appreciate the notiz on their website to go to the theatre for more than 2 hours! we will do it!
