Indianhead Supper Club - Balsam Lake

This has been one of our favorite places so we brought some out of town guests here this past weekend. Our server acted like we were an annoyance from the beginning and was rude. She didn't tell us the specials and seemed irritated when we asked about them. She brought wrong drinks but we didn't say anything. The food was just ok this time. Some of it was cold, and some way undercooked. She wouldn't know this since she never returned to the table afterwards until bringing us the bill, we had to flag down the hostess. She was almost confrontational when she dropped off the bill. I won't say her name in this review but if the owner/manager wants to reach out after reading this I will provide her name. This place is too pricey for this type of service.

Great environment. The piano player was adorable. Staffing was not exceptional. Upon check in, staff did not make eye contact for at least ten minutes. We could see it was a busy nice, which is understandable, but it would be nice to be acknowledged as we did have reservations. Waitress was not overly friendly, we felt like a burden mostly. Food was well prepared and overall good. Not sure we will be dining anytime soon. Food: 3

I really wanted to love this Supper Club, but sad to say that there seemed to be problems in the kitchen with timing. Mushrooms were almost raw, some food was almost cold by the time in came out. Great atmosphere though. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

It was fun. We sat in the screened porch and it was delightful. The service was really good and the food was delicious. Fun atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
